Tessa's Gifts

Tessa received so many gifts from her family and friends. She had so much fun the day before that she fell asleep in the car going home. In the morning, she opened her gifts and Sienna sang her happy birthday.

Tessa's 3rd Birthday Party

Tessa had her 3rd birthday party today. The celebration was at her Nina's house. She had all her friends come and they spent the entire time in the bouncy house. The kids only came out when they we did the pinata and the cake.

Starbucks Moments

Tessa and Sienna are bonding over chocolate milk at Starbucks. It is their favorite drink. I wonder if they are chatting about their Mommy:).

Lioness

Sienna is our lioness. Every morning her hair is extremely huge. There are times where you can not even see her face because her hair is all over the place. When it bugs her she will come over and say, "Mommy, hair!" and fling it up in distress.

A Bird Feeder

Tessa's project in class today was making a bird feeder. I had the day off so I was able to join in on the fun.

Road Trip Home

It was a long weekend and we were able to visit my cousin Matina and my Godmother Les in San Mateo. We had a long trip home because we had to stop a few times to let the girls run around and burn some energy. Sienna was pooped.

Delta King

Andres is the king of our household. The girls love their Daddy and he is such a wonderful influence on them. it is a joy for me to see them interact and be so close. This picture was taken in Old Sacramento by the river which the girls loved to see the big boats.

Tessa's Birthday!!!!

Tessa is 3 years old today. I can not believe how fast time has gone by. She is such a big girl and surprising us at every turn. Today her Nino graduated from Cal State Sacramento and we were there celebrating. There was a jumpy and she took every advantage to have fun. She was int he jumper for at least a few hours, stopping only when she had to eat and use the bathroom. This picture is her and her sister having a good time with their Daddy.

Road trip

We are on our way to Sacramento. It was an early start. We got up at 4:30 am and were on the road by 5:30 am. The girls were a bit drowsy but slept in the car after we got moving. Sienna loves to read so I caught her reading a book as we were driving.

Tea Party Day

Today in class we had a Tea Party day. Everyone had to bring in their tea set plus a hat to wear. The kids were so cute. Everyone was dressed up and ready for finger sandwiches and desserts. We brought cupcakes so the kids could celebrate Tessa's birthday with her which is on Saturday. She will be 3 years old.

Friends Forever

I love watching the girls get close. Today we found them holding hands as we were driving again. It is the cutest thing.

Artwork

The kids have so much artwork. They really enjoy doing it. Sienna loves it more than Tessa but they both generate lots of masterpieces.

My Pumpkin is sleeping

Oxnard visit

We went to the Strawberry Festival today in Oxnard with Fran, Leilani, Kalia and Mateo. We had a great time eating lots of fun strawberry items. The kids loved coming back to the house and playing with the sand and water table the best.

Bug Fair

We went to the Bug Fair today in LA at the Natural History Museum. Tessa was all over it. She touched a scorpion and also a water bug. She also let a creepy crawly thing crawl up her arm. We spent the day with Grandpa and Tessa loved watching the bees.

Sienna and cake

Sienna loves cake, actually both the girls do. However, Tessa loves frosting and Sienna loves the cake part. They are a match made in heaven. Today, Sienna was sharing her cake with her doggy friend.

Tessa and a bubble hat

Tessa was in the bath today and she asked for a bubble hat. Pretty cute:)

Bye Mommy!!

Every morning when i go to work, the girls and Andres wave good bye to me. This morning they were downstairs in the garage as I left. I look forward to it every day.

Sleeping Angels

It was a rough day today. The girls didn't want to go down for their naps. They fought it until late this afternoon when their energy was out. They both fell asleep on our bed and took a break. I too got a chance to take a nap too.

Mother's Day

My girls gave me a beautiful gift that they made. It was their tiny hand prints on a tile that was decorated. It was the cutest thing. My girls love crafts and they were busy today painting with their cousin Alma. I am blessed to be a Mother.

I caught the girls holding hands today while we were driving. It was so cute I had to take a picture. Unfortunately, I could not get Tessa in the picture.

Cinco de Mayo

Today was Cinco de Mayo at the girls school. I had the day off and went to class with them. They were having a Teddy Bear picnic to honor Mom's for Mother's day. We had a great time. Sienna loves doing crafts. Today she made a Cinco de Mayo plate with tissue paper, bells and little green, red and white bears.

iPhone save the Day

We were at the doctors office and waiting for our appointment. The girls were getting restess and we were at total meltdown. Andres pulled out his iPhone and YouTube the Backyardigans. It was total success.

BATH TIME!!

Sienna loves bubbles. She allowed us to give her a bubble hat which she wore with glee.

Visiting Daddy

Today Andres had his Mother's Day session at Twinkle Twinkle Little Store. It was a slow morning for him. So the girls and I decided to take him to lunch since he was gone all day. We went to Rubio's and had a picnic at the park. It was alot of fun and we got to spend time with him and encourage him that the afternoon would be better.

Tessa is a photographer. When we go on walks she takes her camera with her so she can document life. She is following in her Daddy's footsteps.
