It is Sunday and we are at Plums again having breakfast. Sienna is by the window watching her cars go by.

Our new Shelves

Andres is wonderful!! He built these shelves in our garage and they are awesome. He is so proud and he should be. They are gorgeous!

Making Mashed Potatoes

The girls helped me make some mashed potatoes today. They are my little helpers in the kitchen.

Tessa and her hat

Tessa looked so cute today in her hat that she found in the closet. This hat does not fit her but it doesn't matter. She is adorable anyway.

Sienna wonders

We had an ultrasound today and the girls were great. We waited for about an hour and the girls were busy playing outside and looking down at the street below.

Every Sunday we go to breakfast at Plums in West Covina. Sienna likes to watch the cars go by from the window.

This weekend Andres is going to build shelves in the garage. Our plan is to have our office be a play room for the kids. We really need more space.

Tessa the Puppy

Tessa has been pretending she is a puppy. She even plays this way while in the tub. This girl has such an imagination.

Ikea Fun

Arugula Pizza

When we went to Italy a few years ago, Andres and I had this incredible pizza in Florence. It was an arugula pizza that was to die for. It was the best pizza I think i have ever tasted. We tried to recreate it this evening and did a pretty good job.

Manny

We found a preying mantis in our yard today. The girls are so excited they called him Manny and fed him watermelon.

Curious George

Sienna loves to watch Curious George. Today she looks so grown up watching her favorite monkey.

DeLacy Park

Andres was called into jury duty today. So the girls and I took him to the court house and then spent the day at the park. We were on a mission to find coyotes as Tessa says. We looked and looked but no coyotes were in the park:).

Baby Emillio is here!

Baby Orlando Emillio Luna is born! He was 8lbs, 7 oz, 20 in. Maggie is the champ because she was in labor for about 36 hours!!

Awaiting Baby Luna

Maggie and Orlando are having a baby. We are waiting in the hospital waiting room for any word of our newest family member. The girls were really good as they played quietly and colored in their books.

Adult time

Spending time with friends is so awesome. This evening we all met at Bella Serra in Monrovia for some couple time together. I miss going out and hanging with friends without the need of snacks, play toys and coloring pads.

Water Park Fun

Since Gina was in town we had a play date together. We took the girls to a local water park so they could get wet and run around. They had such a wonderful time in the water and watching the water buckets fall from the sky. Look at these girls!

Jam Tower

Sienna and I tried to build the largest jam tower.

Mateo and Kalia's Birthday Celebration

We spent the day in Oxnard with Fran and Lani. We were celebrating the birthdays of Mateo-2 and Kalia- 4. It was such a fun day. Eugene and Gina were down from Chicago so all the kids were able to play with each other. Here Tessa is trying to hit her Daddy with a water balloon. It was hilarious.

Farmers Market in Monrovia

This evening Andres, the girls and I went to the Monrovia farmers market. The girls went into their favorite store, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. They were playing with the ironing play set they had. It was so cute watching them take turns.

Sienna is always looking for things on the ground. She is so cute.

The Big Event

eSolar is turning on the power today. This solar thermal power plant is located in Lancaster and is an Idealab company. It is really an awesome site. An array of mirrors are pointed at one spot to produce steam and generate electricity that is out back on the grid.
