Sienna and her Ice Cream

Sienna has a very unique way of eating her ice cream cone. She likes to eat the cone part first. Now, you maybe thinking, doesn't the ice cream fall off the cone or melt onto her lap?? The answer is yes it does! She is a mess after eating an ice cream cone. You must watch her or ask her to hold the cone. However, Sienna has a temper and she can get very combative if you don't comply with her wishes:).

Aquarium of the Pacific

Tessa and Sienna had a field trip today. We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Tessa has been here before but I think she enjoyed herself much more this time around. She was so intrigued with the seal that was swimming in the tank and following the kids. She also loved the sharks and was even brave enough to stick her hands inside and touch a few. Sienna liked the fished in the fish tank but wasn't so crazy about the rest. She was really interested in playing with her seat belt latches on the stroller. Go figure:).

Friday Night

The girls love to go to Ikea for dinner. Tessa loves the fact that she gets to go inside of a cave as she calls it. When we enter the parking structure, she looks around to see if she can see any coyotes. We have to be very quite in the car and when she spots one, she screams "Coyote, Coyote!!" Once we are inside, she loves the mac and cheese dinner with a chocolate milk as a chaser. She also loves to play on the touch screen computer that they have in the children's area. She is teaching Sienna all the ropes.

Andres does push-ups and sit ups every morning. He has the girls following his every lead. They lay down on the ground with him and he does leg lifts while holding on to the cabinet. It is the cutest thing you have every seen. Tessa also does push-ups where she sticks her but up in the air and pushes off with her feet.

Sienna and her Toes

Sienna loves her feet. She plays with them at every chance. When she is eating her very bad habit is to put her feet on the table. We tell her no but she keeps doing it until we push her way from the tables edge. It is funny because she will stretch her toes to see if she can reach it.

Donut Hole

Every Friday, my hubby takes our daughter to the Donut Hole. The girls refer it as the Donut Cave. They each get a donut with sprinkles. Now Tessa doesn't not eat the entire donut nor does Sienna. When you find the half eaten donuts in the back seat of the truck you will see that they only eat the top of it. They lick off the frosting and leave the rest. They get so excited when they see the huge donut. They both yell "DONUT CAVE!"

Abandoned

We found this poor little dog that has been neglected. She is a Cocker Spaniel that has mange, fleas and is so skinny you can see her bones. It was so sad. We called the Human Society and they came to get her. We can only hope they will give the help she needs so she can find a new home.

Play Time

Tessa and Sienna like to play. I can not say they play together all the time but when they have their moments, all is good at the house. Tessa still takes things from Sienna but Sienna takes it in stride until she snaps and all bets are off. Sienna will take something Tessa is playing with and run.

Friday Night Picnic

Today we got some dinner and went out to Ontario airport to watch the planes land. We had dinner in the back of the truck and watched the planes come in from the sky and land over head. It was so cool. The girls were mesmerized by the big jet flying right above us. Sienna was a little scared of the noise at first but then she wanted to see more. It was an awesome night.

Tessa loves ice cream. She can eat this everyday if we let her. Her favorite this time around is chocolate. Sienna doesn't like ice cream every much. She really isn't found of cold things like ice cream so Tessa can be certain that she has dibs on all the ice cream we have at home.

Santa Ana Zoo

We started our day going to Disneyland. But when we got to the parking structure the lines to park were way to long. So we decide to go to the Santa Ana zoo instead. It was a great move. The girls had a blast watching the monkeys jump and swing and watching the elephant give people rides. We asked each of them if they wanted to go for a ride on the elephant and they both said no. I guess an elephant ride is not the same as a pony ride.

JUMP!

One of the girls favorite things to do is jump off our bed and onto pillows below. Once a week we gather all the pillows from our bed and spread them below to cover the floor. The girls take turns jumping off the foot of the bed and landing on the pillows. They get such a kick out it and it is a great way to work off some of their energy before they go to sleep.

Grouchy

Sienna is a sleeping beauty. However, when she wakes up she is a total grouch! You can not ask her anything because she just says NO. Sienna, would you like milk. NO! Sienna do you want to go downstairs to eat? NO! If you approach her it is the same thing, NO! Tessa says she is just like Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street but worse.

Tessa is quite a character. She is always trying to do funny things. Here she was asking her Daddy to eat a pasta noodle. He did and then it was her turn. She did so and it slurped up and hit her in the nose. She laughed and laughed.

Squares

We got these square mats for the girls to play with downstairs on the title. They really are creative in what they do with them. Sienna likes to pick them up and move them around. Tessa likes me to call out a number and she jumps on each square based on the color. They both get upset if Bailey comes by and steps on the squares. Tessa will say, "Bailey, not on my square!"

Buena Noches

Tonight the girls wanted to call everyone to say good night. We called Poppa, Abuela, Tita, and Daddy. Sienna was the ring leader and she would tell me who to dial. Tessa is not much of a phone person so she only says hello and good bye.

Today was car washing day. Andres, and the girls all washed their cars. The girls love to help their Daddy wash the car even if they wash only one side of the car and usually in the same spot.

We bought a rocket launcher for the girls. It is air propelled and they love it. Tessa gets a kick from stepping on the air stomp really hard and seeing the rocket hit our ceiling. Sienna just laughs and laughs when she does it. She of course is also the rocket re-launcher.

Yummy!!!

Sienna really loves to lick her spoon after eating ice cream. However, she doesn't get to pick the flavor. She leaves it up to Tessa to pick for her. When I ask the girls what kind of ice cream they want Tessa says chocolate. When I ask Sienna, she looks at her sister and then Tessa answers, "Vanilla." Then about mid way, Tessa will say, "Sienna, here is chocolate."

Art Day

Painting was today's activity. I got out the paints and let the girls paint some pictures. It started out fairly easy until Sienna started eating the paint; Tessa used her finger nails to paint her picture. In the end, the girls each painted their hands, face and their shirts. They also made some very nice pieces of art.
