Sisters

Tessa and Sienna are the best of friends. They love hanging out together and playing with each other. I am sick today but they always seem to bring a smile to my face.

Sienna

Sienna is the cutest!! She was signing Happy Birthday today and clapping her hands.

Sienna and the phone

Sienna loves to talk on the phone. She will pick up the phone and have an entire conversation on it. It is the cutest thing. If there is someone on the line, she gets very soft spoken but will continue to talk until you take the phone back from her.

Car Sleep

Tessa refused to take a nap today. So we went to the store and on the way home she crashed. She slept for about 20 minutes but it was enough for her to recharge her batteries.

Choclate frozen bars

Tessa had her first fudgesicle today. She loves it as you can see:).

Earth Day Festival

Today Pasadena had an Earth Day festival in the park by the Armory of the Arts. The girls got to do some crafts and create some masterpieces.

Farmers Market in Covina

Tonight we were at the farmers market. The girls wanted to on the swings and the train. So Tessa rode with her Daddy and Sienna rode with me.

Date Night

We had a date night tonight. It was alot of fun. We went to Buca di Pepo in Claremont. We love their Margarita pizza and salad. We don't get alot of these nights together but when we do we have a great time together.

Sisters at Play

My two little pumpkins are dressing the same and playing like sisters should. Life is gran:)

Tessa's animals

Tessa loves her play table. She plays with her animals. I think she maybe a veterinarian one day. She fascinates me with the things she comes up with. From her talks and fears of coyotes, to her puppies to her Jackpop's. She comes up with some amazing stories that are truly intriguing.

Pears

Sienna needed a snack. He 1st choice was a pear that her Mommy was eating. Suddenly I get a little creature by side and asking me for a bite. A bite turned in to another, then another and then before i knew it...she had eaten my pear. Oh well, my baby had a good snack.

Jump Time

The girls wanted to jump off our bed again this evening onto the pillows below. Tessa decided to get creative and do a flip. She is so brave.

Sister Time

The best gift we got the girls was this play table. They love to play with their toys on it. They are so creative when it comes to play time. Under the table, is what the girls call the cave. The cave protects them from the scary coyotes that roam around the house. According to Tessa, they are only friendly at night when they come to visit her. She has such an imagination.

Fun at the park

Sienna loves to go down the slide. She has found out that it is less scary if she goes on her belly down the slide. She get a big kick out of doing it and every now and again she will try to go head first but in the end she realizes that hitting the sand with your hands hurts far more than hitting the sand with your feet.

Abuela's Birthday

Today we celebrate my Mom's 59th birthday. We all went out to dinner in Ontario at a restaurant called Market Broiler. As we were waiting for the lady of the hour, Tessa wanted to try to see if she could race a motorcycle. We were waiting inside of Gameworks and she tried her best to drive. She looked so grown up.

Shhh Baby sleeping

Sienna was eating breakfast this morning and fell asleep before she could finish her Cheerios. Andres took the picture for me and i thought it was a great one to add to my project. By the way, she was awake today at 4:30 am ready to go. I am not sure what got into her but she couldn't hang. She was out at 8:30 am :)

Sienna the grouchy one

I think i have mentioned this before. Sienna is not a morning person. She wakes up usually on the wrong side of the bed. She is often upset or does not want to be bothered. This morning was no different. She woke up and demanded milk. After she said, "milk...please," her Daddy went down stairs to get some for her. She then sat on the floor and didn't want her milk. This is a daily ritual with her. Sienna wants it then doesn't. Back and forth we go; yes, no, yes no. Tessa decided to give her a head massage with her feet. Lets just say, Sienna was not very appreciative.

Tessa Smiles

Tessa is getting so big. She is almost 3 years old. I can't believe it. She is such a big girl now. She is potty trained and when she goes to the bathroom she asks me for privacy. She does her business and comes out ready to play again. I love my little baby girl. Her smile is so big and bright.

Easter!

The Easter bunny came today and dropped off a bunch of little items for the girls. They were so excited. Tessa got a slinky and Sienna received one too but loved her little chick basket more. She kept a few items in there and even took it to church. She walked down the aisle with me to receive communion and she was a big hit among the parishioners. Tessa walked down with her Daddy. She really likes two things during the service; offering the sign of peace and going up for a blessing. However, she likes her toys to be blessed along with her. When they give her a blessing, she puts up her toy as to say now it is their turn. Today it was a Zebra that she received from the Easter bunny. Most kids walk up for their blessing with their arms crossed, Tessa walks up holding her Zebra and waiting for the blessing. It is the funniest thing.

The girls received their dresses from their Tio Joaquin and they looked so adorable.

Easter Fun at La Puente Park

Today is the day before Easter. We went to the park to go to an Easter Egg hunt that the city of La Puente was hosting. They had 4 different egg hunts depending on age, face painting, crafts and a petting zoo with a Zebra, Camel and a Yak. It was the craziest petty zoo I have ever come across. Tessa was excited to see the Zebra and Sienna was very interested in the pig that was walking around. Later that day, my Mom came by to drop off some Easter gifts for the girls. She had to work this weekend so she wasn't able to come to the festivities with us. Sienna is very excited that the Easter Bunny also stops at Abuela's house too.

Pick-up sticks

Sienna loves sticks. She finds them everywhere. When we go for walks, Sienna's main mission is to find all the sticks that are on the ground. She picks them up from everywhere and carries them with her until we reach the house. She is getting so big.

Bedtime Stories

Every night we read with the girls and the choice of book the past few weeks has been "Leo the Blooming Tiger." The girls request this book by name and Tessa even reads the passages with her Daddy. It is really cute and interesting how they pick up so much and can say it back to us so easily.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Andres birthday. He is 35 years old. The girls were all excited to give him their gift of homemade projects that they did with Abuela. If you were at our house, you would have never guessed it was a birthday party for a 35 year old. The house was so full of kids that you could have sworn it was a kiddie party. Andres was very happy and in the end he said he would not have had it any other way.

The play table

We got the girls a play table. This table is their height and will hopefully maintain the range of toys we have at the house. It has been a hit so far. They love playing with their parking garage, castle and animals. I can only hope that we can keep it as neat as possible for them.

Tessa and her pups

Tessa loves her Jackpops. She takes these guys almost every where we go. On occasion, she will give one of them to Sienna to carry. This is a rare occurrence and doesn't happen to often but when it does they both enjoy the dogs.

Easter Portraits

Andres teamed up with Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Store in Monrovia to do some portraits with the Easter Bunny. We were there all day today and took some great picture for a few people. It was alot of fun. I think we are going to do it again for Mother's Day.

Potty Time

Tessa is doing an amazing job in potty training. She herself is proud. She is so cute. She will say, Mommy I have to go pee pee. We then drop what we are doing and run to the bathroom. Sometimes we have to talk her into going to the restroom but for the most part she is telling us when nature is calling. Nice Job Baby Girl!!

Farmers Market

Today we went to the farmers market in Monrovia. We do this almost every Friday night during the warmer weather. Our routine is eating at Rudy's, walking down the market to look at the veggies and fruits and then going up to see the pony's that Tessa likes to ride. This evening was no different.

Cupcake

Sienna loves cupcakes. At school, one of the little girls had a birthday and they gave out cupcakes. She ate hers as if it was the only thing she has eaten in weeks. We tried to talk to her but she was much to into her cupcake to even breath.

Tessa the Ballerina

As you may remember, Sienna was a ballerina a few days ago. Today it is Tessa's turn. My big girl loves to dance around and do turns with her skirt on. Isn't she adorable!
